2006-1 Stacking blanks: Problems and solutions.

The steel coils produced by the Iron and Steel Industry cannot be used right away by the end users in many cases. On the contrary, they have to be reprocessed on cutting lines to obtain more manageable products. One of the most common jobs is to convert the mother coils into flat blanks that might be parallelepipeds or arbitrary shapes. So-called cut-to-length lines are used to do this.
