Within the framework of the official trip that the President of the Spanish Government is making these days to China, today, 11th of September, he visited the factory that Fagor Arrasate has in the city of Kunshan, about 50 kilometers from Shanghai.
The president of the government, accompanied by a large delegation of the same along with local authorities have toured the facilities of this important production plant of Fagor Arrasate in China to see firsthand the stamping systems, processing lines and cutting of steel and aluminum, and lines for processing sheet metal that the company produces in Kunshan for customers in the automotive, steel and household appliances, both for the domestic market and for other markets in the region.
“For us, there is no greater recognition than the satisfaction of our customers, and that requires being close to them to accompany them in their challenges and challenges. Our presence in China allows us to be perfectly in tune with their needs and approaches to project management, combining specialized product knowledge with the culture and language of our customers,” says the subsidiary's general manager, Alberto Sarasqueta.
The Mondragon-based cooperative opened this factory in 2008, which today has 120 employees, with the mission of strengthening its presence in the Chinese market and providing a high value-added service to its customers.
“In these 16 years we have established ourselves as one of the benchmarks in presses and automatic stamping installations and cutting lines for both steel and aluminum in China, a country on which we will continue to make a strong commitment as part of our international expansion,” adds Sarasqueta.
