Fully Automated production Line for Stamping, Bending and Assembly

CHALLENGE

A major North American multinational sought to elevate both quality and efficiency in the manufacture of metal components, in a context of rising demands regarding finishing, precision and process reliability.

Their previous system—based on independent stations and a high degree of manual handling—limited responsiveness to demand and compromised the uniformity of results.

SOLUCIÓN

Fagor Arrasate designed and implemented a fully automated production line for stamping, bending and assembly, engineered to ensure short cycle times, maximum repeatability and high‑quality finishes.

The project was executed as a turnkey solution, encompassing everything from process engineering to installation and commissioning of all stations.

Moreover, the line incorporates in‑process quality control systems that continuously verify precision and the finish of each component, ensuring full traceability.

The installation was designed with a modular and adaptable architecture so the company can easily incorporate new models or product variants in the future without major structural change.

IMPLEMENTATION

The line was developed in close collaboration with the customer, bringing together the engineering expertise of both teams.
During the design phase, 3D simulations, deformation testing and dimensional validations were carried out to ensure that each element of the line met the highest standards of precision and reliability.
