A BIG PARTY TO INAUGURATE OUR SLITTING LINE AT STALATUBE

Finnish Steel Service Center STALATUBE prepared a glamorous and brilliant inauguration of the slitting line that FAGOR ARRASATE has installed in its facility. The Ceremony was led by Mr. Jukka Nummi, CEO of the Company. In his speech Mr. Nummi was optimistic about future economic situation and defended to invest even in hard times. He said “only dead fishes swim with the stream”. Also, Mrs. Paula Lehtomäki, Minister of the Environment of Finland, attended the event and talked about the steel sector in Finland. Jaana Pelkonen, who in 2007 presented the Eurovision Contest in Helsinki, acted as the anchor of the show.  

FAGOR slitting line is fully automated and able to run at high speed steels of 1600 mm in width and up to 8 mm in thickness.
