Fagor Arrasate event: A NEW STAMPING SYSTEM IS SOLD IN MEXICO

Mexican stamper NUGAR has awarded FAGOR ARRASATE with an order to supply an important new stamping system. This includes a press to work in both transfer and progressive modes  , with a capacity of 2500 ton and an enormous bolster of 7000 x 2500 mm. The press will have a stroke of 900 mm and will be able to work at 25 spm. It is a big machine weighing 800 ton what shows how heavy it is. This machine is a link drive type, a system that allows to manufacture more complex parts than in an eccentric conventional press. The dies to be managed in the line can be as heavy as 80 ton each one.

Electronic transfer  is model CNC7 from FAGOR with a programmable pitch up to 1500 mm and a lifting motion up to 300 mm. This transfer is very fast and with pitches of 800 mm can run at 24 spm.

Coil feeding line will be able to handle coils up to 25 ton and 1800 mm in width with thickness up to 3 mm. The processed steel is a high strength one. When the line works in progressive mode, the destacker moves itself to allow space for the coil feeding line-
