AN IMPORTANT DELEGATION FROM BAOSTEEL PAYS A VISIT TO FAGOR ARRASATE

An important Delegation of Baosteel visited Fagor Arrasate. As it is well known, Baosteel is the biggest manufacturer of steel in China and one of the biggest all over the World with almost 30 million tons produced per year. The team, that was led by Mr. Zhang, arrived to Europe with the goal of knowing in detail how to process high strength steel. In this journey, Fagor Arrasate was chosen because it is the most important specialist in the World in the cut-to-length and slitting of this high tensile strength steel that are used, specially, in the body of the cars. With these steels, the cars can be very rigid and robust but very light, so a low fuel consumption and a high security against crashes are obtained at the same time.
