AN ORDER FROM GENERAL ELECTRIC

The major appliance manufacturer from the US, General Electric,  has awarded FAGOR ARRASATE with an order for designing and supplying a complete special manufacturing line to make complex sheet metal parts aimed for washers and dryers. These new product line share a single cabinet design, and consequently both cabinets are manufactured on the same equipment. The design of the cabinets was well thought out so that all of the feature changes take place on the back panel of the cabinet.

FAGOR will supply a line for manufacturing the cabinet from galvanized and pre-painted steel of 0.031” in thickness that also is embossed. The line will guarantee that no surface damage will be on the surface of the patrts. The cyle time will be 23 seconds, a very short time that proves the advanced technological level of FAGOR in this field, and the line will be very computerized.
