Baosteel choose Fagor Arrasate supplier of its new Blanking Line

Baosteel, one of the biggest Chinese Steel makers has chosen FAGOR ARRASATE as supplier of its new cutting line with press (or blanking line) that will be installed at its facility in Wuhan. The signature ceremony was recently held in the central head quarters of Baosteel in Shanghai, in the elegant sky scrapper  where the main offices of the company are allocated.

Fagor Arrasate is a world leader in the design and manufacturing of blanking lines and basically all the important clients of the world in the automotive, steel and aluminum sector have installations from Fagor. In this kind of products, the technological path of Fagor has always been in the vanguard and, along the time, Fagor has introduced to the market significant developments that have led the road to follow. Just as examples, we can remember the full automatic coil loading, the flexible and computerized levelers with full automatic quick change of cartridges, the start/stop electromagnetic stackers, the vacuum stackers for processing non ferrous materials, the self-adjusting feeding rolls, hyper fast anti overload systems, flexible washers located before or after the press, link drive mechanisms specialized in blanking operations, multimedia controls and, more recently, servoblankings with servopresses that allows the end users to get a 40% more productivity.

The new blanking  will have an advanced leveler, a press with a capacity of 6300 KN, an electromagnetic stacker with two stations and two stacking cradles per station, telediagnosis, production control, a swinging shear to cut traps with high precission, a specialized link drive mechanism optimized for cutting by means of computerized simulation and a global security enclosure.
