BENGANG STEEL PLATES SHOWS ITS GREAT SATISFACTION ABOUT THE PROJECT WITH FAGOR ARRASATE

The project of a tension leveling line with degreasing unit for processing stainless steel awarded to Fagor Arrasate by Bengang Steel Plates, a company of the Benxi Iron & Steel group, in August 2010, continues matching all the main steps properly. After two delegations from the Customer visited us to check all the basic engineering as well as the detail engineering, Fagor has manufactured all the equipment very fast and the equipment has been already shipped in June and July with an improved and advanced delivery time of 2 months comparing with the contract. This tension leveling line will process high quality steel to get an exceptional flatness through the stretching of the strip. The line can process stainless steel of the series 300 and 400 with widths up to 1350 mm and thickness from 0.2 to 3 mm. Estimated yearly production is 200,000 tons running at 150 m/min. The core of the line is the Fagor tension leveler  With a new and improved design and a high precision being optimized for an easy and ergonomic operation as well as to minimize the set up time.

Recently, the last step before the on-site installation begins in the facility located at Dandong, very near to the border with North Korea, a team of technicians from the Customer came to Spain for the training courses. After the course, there was a ceremony for certifying the graduation of the students. The industrial commissioning of the line is programmed for early 2012.
