Brillant opening ceremony of one slitting line in China

 

 

Many directors of the Company as well as authorities attended the ceremony. FAGOR was represented by “Fran” Chi Feng and Ion Linazasoro. The new slitting line can process hihg strength steel of up to 800 Mpa in widths of 2080 mm and thickness ranging from 0.5 to 2.5 mm. The processed material can also be painted, therefore the care of the surface must be exquisite to avoid any damage in the delicate coating. The installation can work up to 200 m/min of maximum speed. This new FAGOR slitting line includes: coil entry saddles, uncoiler, peeler, automatic centering, pinch rolls, scrap shear and scrap evacuation, pinch rolls, slitter with automatic quick change of knives by means of turnstile, scrap baller, special tensioning device, recoiler, exit coil car and exit turnstile to collect the cut coils.
