Brilliant ceremony during the inauguration of a Fagor’s slitting line in India

Fagor Arrasate event: Brilliant ceremony during the inauguration of a Fagor’s slitting line in India

Recently, a brilliant ceremony was held at the main facility of SALEM, the important India’s steel manufacturer, to officially inaugurate the slitting line that Fagor Arrasate has installed at Tamil Nadu location.
This slitting line is abe to process stainless steel of high resistance (up to 1100 Mpa) in widths of 1300 mm and thickness up to 4 mm. The coils can weigh 15,000 Kg. Also, the complete system- that can run at 200 m/min of speed- has a banding and packaging line for coils, therefore assuring the expedition and preparation processed are not becoming the usual bottle neck in this kind of installations.

The Fagor’s working team in India attended the ceremony and they were honored. Their work during commissioning and starting up was really appreciated. For the ceremony, the line was decorated according to hindi tradition and an offering was given to guarantee the continuous success of the line.
