ERDEMIR ORDERS A NEW CUTTING LINE FROM FAGOR ARRASATE

Turkish steel maker ERDEMIR has awarded FAGOR ARRASATE with a new order. This time for the designing, manufacturing and supplying of a slitting line  able to process steel coils of 1525 mm in width and 10 mm in thickness. The new line will run at 200 m/min as maximum speed. This new slitting line includes elevated skids for holding coils, coil car, uncoiler with opposite mandrels, centering device, peeler, pinch rolls, straightener, scrap shear, scrap evacuation, side guides, pinch rolls, slitter, turnstile for changing quickly the tools, loop, scrap baller, movable tensioning device, recoiler, exit coil car with piano system, turnstile and a complementary banding line following the slitting line.
