FAGOR ARRASATE ATTENDS THE 1ST EMPLOYEMENT AND EDUCATION FAIR ORGANIZED BY MONDRAGON UNIVERSITY

The First Employment and Education Fair,organized by Mondragon University took place yesterday at the Hall of the University in the Polo Garaia. This is an event aimed to facilitate the contacts between university’s students and Companies. A place that allows highly skilled young persons to contact Companies needing people for jobs and to these Companies to know the curricula and expectations of the candidates. The Show was organized into four areas: companies and institutions, job’s panel, interviews and education.

Fagor Arrasate attended the event with a booth that was visited by a large number of students interested in working for Fagor, a company that today is the second one worldwide in the field of forming machine tools. Fagor Arrasate’s booth was attended by members of the Human Resources Department. Some panels showing main data and products of the Company were available at the site. Another twenty companies attended the event together with Fagor Arrasate. The Show was open by Mr. Barkala, Vicepresident for the Employment of the Basque Government, Mrs. Ubarretxena, Social Economy Director, Mr. Sotil, President of the Council of Mondragon University and Mr. Altuna, Vice Principal of the University.

Audience was huge as shown by the long queues of people waiting in front of the booths as well as the many last-hour meetings held in the event.
