It has been inaugurated the new facility that the major car maker DAIMLER AG has built in Hungary, in the city of Kecskemet. On March 29th, the President of Daimler, Mr. Dieter Zetsche and the Production Director of the factory Mercedes-Benz in Hungary hauptseite Mr. F. Klein led the event showing their great satisfaction and big expectations about the new productive center that occupy a big area of 4,410,000 sq. meters and that will manufacture two models of the Class B. 2500 workers will be employeed.

Within this new plant, FAGOR ARRASATE has installed a big transfer press  of 2000 ton with a 5100 x 2500 mm bolster size. The stroke of the machine is 750 mm and the Shut Height is 1300 mm. It can work at 30 spm and it is driven 350 kw. It has CNC programmable hydraulic cushions in the base and the quick change of dies is guaranteed by means of moving bolsters and quick clamps.

It includes an electronic transfer CNC from FAGOR and a coil feeding line to feed the material to the press.
