The fair was inaugurated on June, 2nd by the President of the Basque Government, Mr. Urkullu, who was welcomed at Fagor Arrasate’s booth by its CEO, Mr. Balzategui.
The twenty-eighth edition of Machine Tool was held from June 2nd through the7th at the Biennial at Mondragon Bilbao. Fagor Arrasate was present with two booths, one dedicated to presenting the most remarkable developments in its portfolio of product solutions and the other specialized working composites.
There were numerous customers and institutions, both Spanish and foreign, who visited our booths among which included the SPRI, ICEX, representatives of the Ministry of Economy of Spain, and the Chamber of Commerce of Bilbao or CDTI.
Fagor Arrasate presented its most recent developments in mechanical and hydraulic presses, press lines of high speed, processing lines and metal sheet cutting lines, servo-blanking for steel and aluminum, as well as production lines for folding and punching to form complete parts . It has also placed special emphasis on the solutions proposed for Fagor Arrasate’s hot stamping or press hardening, having developed some open houses in the immediate Zamudio where you could see a newly constructed facility.
Meanwhile at the composites booth, Fagor presented solutions to form various types of plastic materials such as HP-RTM, SMC, D-LFT and GMT; all processes are used in the automotive and aeronautics industries, among others.
