FAGOR ARRASATE WILL BE EXHIBITING ITS DIGITALISATION SUPPORT SOLUTIONS AT THE MACHINE-TOOL BIENNIAL

Fagor Arrasate event: FAGOR ARRASATE WILL BE EXHIBITING ITS DIGITALISATION SUPPORT SOLUTIONS AT THE MACHINE-TOOL BIENNIAL

At the Spanish Machine-Tool Biennial (BIEMH), Fagor Arrasate will be exhibiting its advanced solutions for supporting the digital transformation of industrial plants that will improve the performance of the installations and increase productivity and the quality of the product. At the fair, which will be held at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) from 28 May to 1 June, customers will find out about Fagor Arrasate’s firm commitment to offering advanced services that complement the products that give a response to the new Industry 4.0 paradigm.

Digital systems designed by Fagor Arrasate offer additional and more detailed information on the machine that leads to an improvement of its operating efficiency, as the analysis of all the data available allows improvement actions to be identified as regards availability, performance and quality of the product. These solutions, adapted to the needs of customers, are developed with the latest technologies and under the strictest safety, quality and confidentially standards during all the data flow phases.

Fagor Arrasate will again be present at the BIEMH with a stand that will highlight their proposals for facilitating the digital transformation of industry. In this Industry 4.0 strategy, Fagor Arrasate has developed an advanced Smart Connect system, which is designed to be integrated into machines already in service through the installation of additional sensors in a quick and simple way without touching the installation control. These sensors capture the information, store it and analyse the behaviour of the different variables to facilitate an improvement of the OEE reference indicator.

Among the services that are available to customers, notable is the FA link MAP advanced maintenance platform which allows industries to monitor all their installations and have recommendations in real-time from the Fagor Arrasate unit on the state of the machinery in order to improve its availability and maintenance. By means of the advanced data analysis, this servitisation, valid for all three of Fagor Arrasate’s customer sectors – the automotive sector, steel service centres and domestic appliance manufacturers – contributes to improving the use, behaviour and maintenance of the equipment, thus lengthening its service life and guaranteeing flexible, individualised and efficient production.

The catalogue that Fagor Arrasate will take to the 30th BIEMH, where it will occupy stand E-03 in hall 5, includes its Digital Twin service which involves the customer from the initial definition of the installation phase in order to respond to its expectations. This system allows interaction with the customer by means of 3-D simulations that reproduce the real installation and allow work on the desired model so that the relevant adjustments can be made according to customer needs. In this way, with the different elements and processes defined, the risks are minimised and the best performance is guaranteed.
