Fagor Arrasate has been awarded by an important Turkish Service Center with an order to design, manufacture and install a new slitting line able to process very high strength steel in widths up to 600 mm and thickness up to 5 mm.
The maximum weight of the coils will be 10 Tons. The line can run at a maximum of 150 m/min. This kind of installationsinclude a coil storage, coil car, servocontrolled decoiler, peeler, cenetering device, pinch rolls, straightener, side guides, pinch rolls, slitter with a system for quick change of tooling, loop, scrap baller, tensionging device, recoiler, exit coil car and exit turnstile. At this point of time, FAGOR is one of the leading suppliers of coil cutting lines in Turkey , being a great market for the company.
