Fagor Arrasate event: FAGOR ARRASATE WILL SUPPLY MITSUI WITH A SERVOBLANKING LINE

The multinational Japanese company MITSUI STEEL has awarded FAGOR ARRASATE with an order for the design and supply of a big press cutting line with servopress, or servoblanking line that will be installed in the new factory that the Japanese firm will build in Russia, near the city of St. Petersbourgh. This new line will process high strength steel of up to 1200 Mpa in coils of 32 tons of weight, 1900 mm in width and thickness up to 3.2 mm. The servopress itself will have a capacity of 8000 KN. The system will include a leveler with automatic change of cartridges as well as an electromagnetic stacker with two stations that can work in start/stop mode. The whole line is enclosed inside a cabinet to avoid any dust that can damage the high quality of the surface of the material aimed to making cars.

Fagor Arrasate is nowadays one of the World leaders in servoblanking lines , a type of installations that allow a significant increment of production comparing with conventional blanking lines. This increment can reach up to 40% depending on the length of the blanks to be cut and the involved dies.
