FAGOR ARRASATE WILL SUPPLY PSA WIH A TRAPS CUTTING LINE

French car maker PSA has ordered from FAGOR ARRASATE a cut-to-length line  to cut trapezoids. This new line will process steel of high strength (up to 1100 Mpa) in widths of strip of 1850 mm and thickness up to 2.5 mm. The weight of the coils can be 25 tons and the processing speed will be 60m/min. The system includes coil storage, coil car, motorized uncoiler, peeler, computerized leveller with automatic change of cartridges, accumulation looper and a high prevision swinging shear. The stacker will be provided by Customer.

It is interesting to mention additionally that FAGOR ARRASATE is also leader in the design and manufacturing of traps cutting lines with roto-oscillating shear, a machine well know now on the market due to its big advantages in terms of production and cost reduction.
