FAGOR Spirit

In 1969 Luis Ocaña, a member of the Fagor cycling team, suffered a fall while competing in the Tour de France, in the Ballon d’Alsace stage. Despite the seriousness of his injuries he refused to abandon the race and all his teammates joined in to help him reach the finish line in a display of solidarity, camaraderie and team spirit that resonated in images around the world.

At Fagor Arrasate we have been at our customers’ sides for 63 years. If Luis’ story has taught us anything, it is that the way to overcome adversity is through teamwork, effort and cooperation. All these values are part of our DNA, our essence and of the Fagor Spirit.
