FLEXCELL TRANSFER PRESS: The arrival of the machine to Germany received with great expectation

German Newspapers have informed of the first lot arrival of the great FlexCell Stamping System that Fagor Arrasate has designed and built for Volkswagen in Wolfsburg. The system has a total capacity of 57,000 KN and the total weight of the machines reaches 1100 ton. The bolsters have a dimension of 4500 x 1500 mm. It is a FlexCell Stamping System with three concatenated presses allowing a great flexibility and productivity. So, this advanced and new development from Fagor Arrasate allows to manufacture medium-big size parts in transfer mode while previously they also could been manufactured in slow press lines. The productivity has been now dramatically increased as a transfer device is much faster than the robots between presses. The maximum speed of the FlexCell System is 25 spm.
