GREAT SUCCESS OF FAGOR ARRASATE WITH ITS SPEECH ABOUT PRESS HARDENING IN INDIA

The International Seminar about Forming Technologies was held in confluence with the IMTEX 2016  Show in Bangalore, India. With more than 200 delegates present in the room, Aitor Ormaetxea lectured about “Latest developments and tests for Hot Forming”, explaining the latest developments in the hot forming of parts and in-press quenching for getting a high strength parts- This process, called Press Hardening, allows nowadays the manufacturing of very complex highly resistant parts what allows to create lighter vehicle’s bodies, reducing the gas consumption as well as simplify the manufacturing process. The investments are also reduced. It is a very new technology in India and because of that, the delegates showed a great interest in the issue.
