JINDAL, one of the most important manufacturers of steel in India, has ordered a big cut-to-length line from FAGOR ARRASATE.

 

This big line will be able to process high strength steel up to 25.4 mm in thickness and 2150 mm in width. The strength of the steel to be processed can be of 900 MPa, so very hard. The minimum thickness to be processed is 8 mm.

 

The line will be able to cut 20 blanks of 1 meter in length. The weight of the bundles will be of 10 Tons.

 

This line includes: coil storage, coil car, uncoiler, centering device, gantry for threading, peeler, pinch rolls, straightener, crop shear, side guides, leveller, pinch rolls, flying shear, marking device and stacker with two stations. Following this stacker there are a packaging line.

 

This will be one of the biggest lines installed in all
