Last November 13th, a press blanking line that FAGOR ARRASATE has installed in Argentina was proudly inaugurated. This line has been installed in GONVARRI ARGENTINA. Gobernor Mr. Daniel Scioli formally started the line. He was in the company of the Production Minister Mr. Martin Ferré; Secretary of Industry, Commerce and Mines, Mr. Ariel Schale; Employement Secretary, Mr. Pedro Cedrés; and the Industry’s Director, Mr. Santiago Cafiero. Gobernor Scioli pointed out the enormous flow of production that the car industry and subsuppliers generates in this region of Argentina with two new factories in recent times. Mr. Scioli said that the sector “is recovering in a consistent path” with a 30% exports during this year of 2009 and emphasized that 70% of the car production of the country and 50% of the car’s parts are manufactured in Buenos Aires province. After walking around the new facilities of GONVARRI ARGENTINA and GESTAMP BAIRES SA, talked about the new opportunities for jobs that these Companies are creating- with more than 1000 jobs- and was very satisfied with the technology of FAGOR and the high automation of the line.
