Nowadays, for precision die’s spotting and manufacturing, both for processing metal parts or composites parts, Spotting Die Hydraulic Presses  are required. These must have advanced features as this one designed and supplied by Fagor Arrasate has. This machine has been delivered to a major electric vehicles manufacturer. The capacity of 5,000 KN is obtained by means of two main hydraulic cylinders. The maximum available returning force is 800 KN. Maximum stroke is 2,600 mm and Shut Height can reach 3,200 mm. The dimensions of the bolster and the slide are 3,300×2,800 mm. It can handle dies up to 50 ton in weight.

A very important feature of this machine, as well as useful, is that the slide can tilt 180º with weights of the upper side of the dies up to 25 ton.

Therefore, the die is positioned in front of the operator in a horizontal and totally ergonomic way. So, the spotting works are greatly facilitated, increasing productivity and guaranteeing the safety of the technician.
