NEW ORDER FROM BAOSTEEL TO FAGOR ARRASATE

Chinese Giant Steel maker BAOSTEEL  has awarded FAGOR ARRASATE with a new order for the design, manufacturing and supplying of a new press blanking line this time to be installed at the factory of the company in Chongquing.

This new line will process both steel qualities O5 and O3 aimed to be used in the automotive industry. It will process coils of up to 1700 mm in width and 3 mm in thickness that can have a weight of 30 tons. The processed steel can be very hard up to 900 Mpa. The press will have a capacity of 630 ton and the installation will run at a maximum speed of 90 m/min and 60 spm. This press has a size of 4500 x 2500 mm what gently allows to cut big parts for the body of the cars. To allow a quick change of dies, the machine has two moving bolsters.
