OPEN HOUSE EVENT: ADVANCED PRESS HARDENING STAMPING SYSTEM INTRODUCTION

The simultaneous stamping and quenching of steel parts is a technology having a significant impact in the automotive sector due to the fact that it allows manufacturing very high strength complex parts something that means lighter car bodies and reduced fuel consumption. FAGOR ARRASATE, through its brand HOTTEKNIK, is one of the most important suppliers of press hardening stamping systems with many references in the sector, a leadership strongly based on being leader in hydraulic presses manufacturing as well as in press hardening dies together with its brother company BATZ. Currently, we are completing in our facility of Zamudio the commissioning of an advanced installation that includes an automatic blank destacker, a lineal heating furnace, a 1200 ton hydraulic press specially designed for hot stamping, a robotized manipulator able to move parts heated at 900ºC from and toward the press and cooled dies specially designed for achieving the quick quenching of the part.

During the visit to our factory, it will be possible to see some of the key components of this installation in operation, particularly the press and the robotized manipulator. Also, the complete system will be fully explained through informative panels showing all the data of the system.
