SEVERSTAL GONVARRI will install a cut-to-length line from FAGOR

SEVERSTAL GONVARRI will install a cut-to-length line from FAGOR in its facility near Moscow. The new installation will cut high strength steel of 1850 mm in width and 3 mm in thickness. The line will be able to cut rectangular blanks at a maximum speed of almost 100 m/min and a cycle of 180 spm. To do it, the cut-to-length line will include the FAGOR’s rotary sherar, one of the most advanced machine in the sector due to its strength, accuracy and the specialize control by FAGOR for this application. The line has also a leveler with automatic change of cassettes and an electromagnetic stacker working in start/stop mode what allows to cut blanks without damaging their edges in order to have a high quality laser welding
