TATA STEEL CHOOSES FAGOR ARRASATE AS PROVIDER OF MODERNIZATION SERVICES

The important Indian steel maker TATA STEEL  has chosen the Division of Service and Modernization of FAGOR ARRASATE to dismantle an existing line in Europe and reassembling it completely in India. FAGOR will also be responsible for the modernization of this line, changing for instance totally the electric control in order to guarantee a more productive installation and according to the current standards. It is an existing slitting line able to cut steel up to 10 mm in thickness. The Service Team of FAGOR will be responsible, moreover, to move all the machines to the central facility of FAGOR in Spain in order to proceed with an exhaustive check and test of the whole equipment in order to propose improvements and modernizations about problems not detected in the initial phase of evaluation.
