TATA STEEL TRUSTS ON FAGOR FOR ITS NEW BLANKING LINE FOR ALUMINUM AND STEEL

TATA STEEL in the United Kingdom has again trusted on FAGOR ARRASATE for the supplying of the new press blanking line aimed to process both aluminum and steel. For aluminum, the maximum thickness will be 3 mm in this case. The processing of two materials so different as steel and aluminum are obliges to distinguish clearly the working path in the key machines. Therefore, the leveler must have two independent cartridges, quit quick change, specialized each one in one of the materials. In the same way, the pinch rolls and cyclical feeding rolls have to be double. As the aluminum in not magnetic, the stacker must be of the vacuum type.
