On the one hand, the CNC-F double-bar servo transfer system is designed to work in the most aggressive (hot and warm forging) environments, and on the other hand the TM single bar transfer features independent active grippers.
FAGOR ARRASATE´s single-bar transfer has been developed to withstand the working environment of a warm forging process, as demonstrated by Fagor transfers that have been operating in such conditions for years. In addition, the independent open-close axis and the extremely fast adjustment of the grippers during reference part changes make this transfer a device that offers a new level of ergonomy and flexibility to the user.
There are many cases where double-bar transfers are more adequate than a single-bar one; for those cases the traditional double-bar transfers for forging are also available.
Press automation systems
The two-bar transfer for forging is developed in such a way that it can withstand aggressive working environments due to the lubrication (chemical solutions of different types) and temperature ( up to 1,200 °C) of the forging process. To achieve this objective, both the motors and the guides of the transfer are over-dimensioned and protected. This protection is obtained by placing the motors outside the working area, as well as protecting them inside a cover specifically designed for this purpose.
Single bar transfer specially designed for cylindrical parts that are forged vertically. The single bar transfer has numerous advantages, among which are improved access from the front of the machine to the work area, as well as greater adaptability to any part diameter, thus significantly reducing reference change times.
