Die change system for forging

In forging the die change can be carried-out in many different ways. Dies are usually attached to the die-plates which are at the same time clamped to the press, both on the table and on the slide. These clamping interfaces can be done either through safety screws or hydraulically depending on the case.

Additionally, the accurate centering of the die, the ease of access to it and the protection of the mechanisms against the aggressive conditions under which the dies should work are taken into account in the design of each different project.
