CHALLENGE
The customer was looking for a solution that would reduce material waste and increase production flexibility, while maintaining the precision and speed of a high-end cutting line.
The traditional system generated unused material margins and required manual handling, which limited productivity and part traceability.
SOLUTION
The proposal was a coil-fed laser cutting line, equipped with an intelligent nesting optimization system capable of calculating in real time the most efficient layout of each part on the strip.
This system drastically reduces material waste by automatically adjusting cutting patterns according to part size, shape and production sequence.
In addition, the line incorporates the XGAP model, which transports scrap and offcuts directly out of the working area, keeping the environment clean and fully operational at all times.
Once cut, the parts are automatically identified, sorted and stacked, with stacking adapted to the geometry, size and final destination of each component.
The result is a continuous, orderly and efficient process that integrates cutting, sorting and internal logistics in a single installation.
