Fagor Arrasate is supplying a new hybrid blanking line to the Gonvarri plant in Slovakia

All the presses that this company will use in its facilities in this country for stamping parts for the car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover will bear the signature of Fagor Arrasate The line will be essentially used for aluminium skin and body panels. They line is also capable of processing Steel.

Gonvarri has once again ordered the installation of a hybrid blanking line from Fagor Arrasate for its new plant in Slovakia. The plant specialises in aluminium components and will provide a service to vehicle manufacturers, especially Jaguar Land Rover which has built a plant in that country for its production. Fagor Arrasate has won the order to supply this hybrid blanking line, in competition with other leaders of the sector. Fagor Arrasate will now equip the facilities that it is going to open in Slovakia and that will supply parts to Jaguar Land Rover for their project located in Nitra. All the presses that Gonvarri will use for stamping parts for the British vehicle manufacturer will bear the signature of Fagor Arrasate. To this 800 tone hybrid blanking line for steel and aluminium processing are also added a full servo G1 line and another hybrid line with servo head that were previously ordered from the Guipuzcoan company. This last line has a double pressure roller and has a capacity for processing material of 0.5 to 4.00 mm in thickness and a maximum width of 2150 mm. The equipment is designed to processing both steel and aluminium with the highest standards of reliability. The set of press lines supplied by Fagor Arrasate for the Gonvarri plant in Slovakia enables the company to stamp high quality parts for vehicle manufacturers aiming to reduce the weight and increase the safety of their cars.
