Fagor Arrasate participates in the Stuttgart European Composites Fair with great expectations

They will attend this important forum, which attracts companies from the entire automotive sector value chain, for the third time from 19th to 21st September.

Fagor Arrasate will be present again at the Stuttgart European Composites, Technology and Applications Fair in Germany, where they aim to re-edit the success of the previous two editions. For this, they will stress the two key points, which distinguish them, i.e. technological leadership and personalisation of processes adapted to the client’s needs.

“Our main virtue is we provide solutions customised to the client’s needs to optimise the result”, Estibalitz Arregi, the Fagor Arrasate Business Unit Manager highlighted. She will lead the business delegation attending the fair in its 12th edition from 19th to 21st September.

This is the third time Fagor Arrasate will attend this important platform of composite materials which attracts companies from the entire automotive sector value chain, to annually present technological advances, variations of existing technologies and different materials for their treatment. With over 400 company exhibitors from over 25 countries, this fair attracts over 10,000 professional visitors, a figure which quadruples the number of attendees since its first addition in 2006.

The expectations they have with attending this fair are high, since one of Fagor Arrasate’s greatest achievements has been to provide customised solutions and high technological value to the process for composite materials, the main demand of this sector. The Gipuzkoan cooperative trusts this new attendance will contribute to consolidating their position in Europe. The delegation going to Stuttgart will hold meetings with different companies hoping to win new prospective clients who attend the stand, which will be installed in sector 4 in space C07.

The fair, which is highly focused on the automotive sector, the main business line of Fagor Arrasate, is considered an important international business platform for the compound product industry seeking to generate new business from the different exhibitors. These 3 days of the forum will attract many suppliers and industry OEM, likewise congregating professional visitors from over 60 countries. 45% of attendees are from outside Germany, with Italy, Netherlands, UK, Switzerland and Austria being the five major public senders.

Fair relevance is measured according to what its organisers highlight, i.e. 72% of professional visitors decide to purchase technology or are decidedly influenced when directing their investments to one technology or another. The exhibition area includes raw materials (resin, thermoplastics or additives), semi-prepared products, intermediate and finished products, processing technology or machinery and equipment. Italy, UK, China, France and Netherlands are the major fair exhibitors apart from Germany.
