Quality Machining Structures up to 150 Ton

The  best performance obtained in a press is not only due to its design and embedded technology, it is also essential to provide good rigidity structures required by the production processes/parts to be manufactured.
To ensure the best and most accurate machine structures for its customers, FAGOR ARRASATE has invested in a Traveling-column milling machine
equipped with a rotary table and automatic quill changer allowing machining and boring of press crown and bases  of up to 150Tn with only 1 + 2 fixed.

The new milling machine capabilities are impressive. With more than 20 meters long, 6 meters high, spindle power over 70Kw. and a  200 mm diameter quill to  bore holes that allow quality H7.

The Investment is one of the first  of  the 2013-2016 strategic plan, and its installation in late 2013 in the machining work area has significantly improved machining capacity in the Mondragon-Arrasate plant.
