Jürgen Hagl, managing director of Hagl GmbH in Holledau (Germany) 

My name is Jürgen Hagl, I am the managing director of Hagl GmbH. We are based in Holledau, between Munich and Ingolstadt, and we manufacture aluminium, steel and stainless-steel sheet metal parts for the automotive industry.

What is the aspect of your relationship with Fagor Arrasate that you value the most?

We can usually solve any problems that might arise over the phone, in a straightforward way. All their people are very sociable, which is very good for us as large craft business, as we rather just pick up the phone than send 5,000 emails back and forth. The whole unbureaucratic approach to Fagor Arrasate is great and suits us perfectly.

What made you decide for Fagor Arrasate?

The reason why we chose Fagor Arrasate is the positive feedback from OEMs in Southern Germany. Everyone praised the performance of Fagor Arrasate. This impression was confirmed after a personal meeting with staff in Bilbao, it was really positive. So, we have continued down the road with Fagor Arrasate.

Another reason why we chose Fagor Arrasate is the new service center in Hilpoltstein. It is just around the corner, you can be there in an hour, and you can pick up your spare part right away - all of these are positive points.

How satisfied are you with Fagor Arrasate?

Having been in operation for one year, and there is only positive feedback from the employees, they are very satisfied. The facility works day in and day out. The results we achieve exceed our expectations.

One of the main reasons to purchase the Fagor Arrasate equipment was, of course, our active participation in the design from the quotation phase right through implementation, both from a technical and business point of view, which proved to be a total success. After a year in production, thanks to the facility we have truly advanced qualitatively as well as technically, and have now taken up quite a different market position.

Final comment:

As a managing director, there is always an uncertainty factor about the right decision when you make investments. But after a year, I have no hesitation in affirming that this investment has been worthwhile for us and will continue to be so in the future.
