Our service location in Germany enables us to offer our customers fast, competent and reliable support. This includes, among other things, preventive maintenance measures, spare parts procurement, fault diagnosis and repair measures.
How does Fagor Arrasate Deutschland’s service contribute to the success of its customers?
Through our service activities, we offer customers the opportunity to reduce unplanned machine downtime through preventive measures, increase productivity, and ensure machine and personnel safety.
We are the point of contact for inquiries, quotations, planning of service visits and machine downtimes and support our customers on a daily basis.
How does Fagor Arrasate’s experience in designing and manufacturing turnkey plants contribute to the services offered?
Due to Fagor Arrasate’s extensive portfolio of equipment in various business areas including automotive and steel, Fagor Arrasate Deutschland (as well as the entire service division) can draw on a wide range of technical innovations and offer customers cus¬tomized solutions in the after-sales area as well.
In an environment like the current one, where new investment is declining, what role do retrofits play in maintaining our customers’ competitiveness?
Due to the difficult market situation, retrofits are be¬coming increasingly important. Here, the customer has the opportunity to increase the productivity of his plants or to ensure the competitiveness of his products with¬out having to make large investments in new plants. By modernizing existing plants, the customer can thus con¬solidate or expand its market position.
How important is the qualification and specialization of Fagor Arrasate Deutschland service technicians?
In order to guarantee an optimal service, continuous training and specialization of our service technicians is a matter of course. Only in this way can our service keep pace with the technological development of our products and the associated customer-specific require-ments.
How do you see the growth prospects on the German market?
The market situation remains tense, and at present no one can say how long this situation will last, as sensi¬tive supply chains continue to cause our customers great difficulties. Consequently, investments are postponed or checked several times before they are launched. Our goal must be to offer the customer an optimal service even in these times, and to carry out our services during the current production shutdowns.
